Allergan’s Leave to Appeal Certification Denied
Following Justice Morgan’s December 2022 certification of the class action against Allergan for issues concerning its textured and silicone breast implants, the Defendants sought leave to appeal the decision in the Ontario Divisional Court.
On May 12, 2023, the Divisional Court dismissed the application for leave, ruling in favour of the Respondents and ordering Allergan to pay costs.
