David Eleff
Jarvis McGee Rice LLP is proud to announce the addition of David Eleff to the firm as our newest associate.
David obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg in 2005 and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba in 2008. He completed his articles at a leading Winnipeg criminal defence firm and was called to the Bar in the summer of 2009. Following his call to the Bar, David practiced criminal defence law in Winnipeg, gaining valuable trial experience, before moving to the west coast. Prior to joining Jarvis McGee Rice, David practiced at a boutique personal injury law firm in Burnaby. David has experience handling cases involving complex and traumatic injuries including chronic pain and brain injury. David takes pride in getting to know his clients and helping them get familiar and comfortable with the litigation process from start to finish.
A sports enthusiast, David is a board member, and member of the fundraising committee of Athletics 4 Kids, a charitable organization that provides funding to youth in low income households to participate in sports. Having grown up on the prairies, David thoroughly enjoys BC’s milder climate and can often be seen jogging on the seawall. To date, David has completed a full marathon and 6 half marathons in the lower mainland. When not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife, friends and family. David is an avid basketball player though at times wishes he was a little bit taller. David’s interests also include: golf, cooking, playing guitar, and watching Jets and Canucks hockey.
