Kendal joined Rice Harbut Elliott in 2023. She has over a decade of litigation experience in personal injury, life and disability, product liability, and wills and trusts. Kendal also acted as in-house counsel for the Public Guardian Trustee of B.C. in Child and Youth Services, where she protected the legal interests of minor children in B.C.
Kendal has a relentless work ethic and settles for nothing less than excellence. She has represented individual and institutional clients at all levels of Court in B.C and achieved countless out-of-court settlements through her exhaustive preparation, persistence, and practical approach to resolving conflict. Her previous years acting for insurance companies has provided her with valuable insight that has served her well in her strictly plaintiff-devoted practice at RHE.
Prior to joining RHE, Kendal practiced in insurance defense at a leading international law firm and served on the executive of the Wills and Trusts (Vancouver) subsection of the Canadian Bar Association. She is also responsible for the 2023 update to the CLEBC Practice Manual chapter Advising a Business on Insurance Basics.
