Rice Harbut Elliott LLP has commenced proceedings in a class action lawsuit, representing Canadian women who were prescribed “Alysena 21” or “Alysena 28” birth control pills, in which Health Canada had issued public advisories in February 2018 and March 2018.

A settlement has been reached and approved by the Court. The deadline by which members of the class were required to submit their claims (July 10, 2024) has passed.
