Rice Harbut Elliott LLP has commenced proceedings in a class action lawsuit, representing Canadian women who were prescribed “Alysena 21” or “Alysena 28” birth control pills, in which Health Canada had issued public advisories in February 2018 and March 2018.

The affected “Alysena 21” or “Alysena 28” pills reportedly involved chipped, broken, or smaller-than-normal pills, leading to unintended pregnancies. At present, the recall involves pills from all lots of:

Our firm is seeking compensation for Canadian women who received “Alysena 21” or “Alysena 28” birth control pills that may have been involved in the manufacturing defect.
