Jon Harbut and Michael Elliott were trial counsel for Mr. Hall. The only issue in this trial was who was at fault for a motor vehicle accident. The accident occurred at an intersection where Mr. Hall was turning left and Mr. Timms was proceeding straight through. ICBC and the police held Mr. Hall 100% at fault for the accident. The case involved engineering evidence and eyewitness testimony. The trial judge ruled that Mr. Timms was 75% at fault for the accident, and Mr. Hall was only 25% at fault for the accident.
